Against All Odds
| My involvement with the Patients’ Rights and
Independent Living movements has been a motivating factor in my life
that has brought me hope, dignity and the opportunity to make a
contribution to the quality of life of other people with psychiatric
disabilities. I may never be "cured "or "normal "
but I can and do live a full and satisfying life, contributing to my
community in my own unique way.
