Against All Odds
| My involvement with Community
Vocational Enterprises has been the most productive period in my
life. I came to San Francisco after I was kicked out of a program
for the mentally ill in Sacramento. Why I came to San Francisco is a
mystery to me. I just seem to have drifted there. No money, no
home, no friends or family, no therapy, no medication, no hope. I
was deeply depressed. It was then that I started the difficult task of
asking for help. I was led to Community Vocational Enterprises and
knew right away that I had found something special. I now have
direction in my life and most importantly I have renewed hope.
