Against All Odds
| Fourteen years ago, when our youngest daughter came down
with schizophrenia I was not prepared to cope with it nor accept the
consequences. By chance I heard of the California Alliance for the
Mentally Ill. I became involved as a volunteer and I am encouraged by
the increased visibility of our organization’s efforts in areas for
better treatment for the mentally ill.
