Against All Odds
| Liberated by the news of the medical nature of mental
illness, families are "coming out of the closets", educating
themselves and the public, and organizing as a powerful lobby for change
in the mental health system. I’m indeed fortunate to be working with
these families - it’s like being a midwife to the birth of hope for
them and their ill loved ones. The families are now a movement that won’t
stop until a cure for mental illness is found.
