do people who react negatively or with disbelief toward my sexuality
think that
I could as easily “go straight” and be happier? ‘Why
do they think I want to change or love someone that is not natural
for me to love? I am happy loving
women. My sex life is a small part
of my life, a facet of my whole being. With
people who cannot accept it, it becomes an exaggerated
issue.
But I try not to let anyone else’s opinion of gay people
affect my
happiness. I am secure and happy
with at least this part of my life, my lovers and friends.
